The contact form

When you send a message we keep your name, your email address, the message, the time it arrived, and the internet address it came from. We use them to reply to you and to block abuse of the form, and for nothing else. They are stored with our hosting provider and sent to our own email. We do not sell or share them.

If you would like a message you sent deleted, ask through the contact form and we will remove it.

Visit counts

Our own server counts the pages it serves, so we know which pages are read. For each page you view, it records:

• the page's address on this site, such as /games/mogrichess
• the date and time
• the name of the site whose link brought you here, such as google.com, but not the rest of that link, and nothing when you came from another page of this site
• a visitor code, so we can count how many people visited on a day

The visitor code is made by scrambling your internet address and browser name together with a random value that changes every day. Each day's random value is deleted the following day, after which nobody, including us, can turn a code back into an address or tell that two days' visits were the same person. Your internet address and browser name are not stored.

Nothing is stored in your browser for this, and nothing is sent to anyone else. The records are kept with our hosting provider.

Cookies

The contact form sets one cookie, which protects it against forged submissions. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Videos

Video trailers are hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; after that, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to the video.
